I would like to invite YOU to join me and other leaders at the Alief ISD School Board meetings whenever you can. 

You would not be expected to speak up or present, of course. Generally, as president, I am the spokesperson. But your mere presence signals that our association is paying attention to what's happening!

Generally, the AISD School Board meets on two Tuesdays each month, first a workshop and then a business meeting. The workshops are more informal and are not used to conduct the business of the district.  The public is invited but not permitted to speak at workshops. The business meetings are formal and follow a set agenda. The public is entitled to address the Board briefly (5 m) on any topic, so long as rules are followed (no names, etc.).  

The meetings start at 6:00pm and the dates are listed in the table on the right of this page.
